Prontosan® Wound Gel là một loại gel có độ nhớt cao, được sử dụng cho cả vết thương cấp và mãn tính, bao gồm cả vết bỏng. Gel này giúp làm sạch, tạo môi trường ẩm và ngăn ngừa nhiễm trùng cho vùng vết thương giữa các lần thay băng. Nó có sẵn trong ống dung tích 30 ml hoặc trong ống dung tích 50 g và 250g

Thành phần của Prontosan® Wound Gel X bao gồm:

  • Polihexanide (0.1%): Một chất kháng khuẩn.
  • Betaine: Một chất hoạt động bề mặt.
  • Glycerol: Dưỡng ẩm.
  • Hydroxyethylcellulose: Chất gây đặc.

Gel này giúp loại bỏ và ngăn ngừa màng biofilm, giảm thời gian lành vết thương, và giúp thay băng không đau. Nó cũng tương thích với các loại băng thường được sử dụng và có thể sử dụng trong vòng 8 tuần sau khi mở nắp lần đầu
